I'm on vacation :) so I'll try to play as much mp as i can over the next few days. BGR includes the stuff from "Tales of the Sword Coast". I mentioned it because I'm sure you guys played those, and like me, probably looking forward to some more old school stuff.

Not to brag, but guess who played a couple sessions of Holmes Basic recently. Felt like it was 1979, again. :P
(OK, so it's bragging)

Will you be able to continue playing on Sundays after you go back to work, Axe?

Hi, GW!

I really enjoyed playing on Sundays and would like to again. I'll have to talk to my wife, possibly take her to Ruth's Chris Steakhouse to soften the blow (I'd better start saving now). We typically have family stuff Sunday evenings but I made an exception for Bough ;) In the past, I peered in and was tempted to ask if you could use another player from time to time.

Anyway, my brother and I played BGR and it seemed to work quite well. Although my PC was carrying the story, my brother's PC was able to complete quests and both of our journals were updated correctly.

An example of something being a little wonky: I spoke to a guard who wanted me to fetch him some bolts from a merchant. My brother had some bolts on him (bought prieviously at the merchant), so he gave his to him, which completed the quest/journal, we both gained XP, and my brother's PC was given a special dagger. I spoke to the guard a second time, who said, "please buy me some bolts." I ran back to the merchant, bought bolts, and talked to the guard a third time. The guard said, "hmmm, no bolts yet?" Although a bit wonky, the simple quest didn't let me load up on XP or daggers.

We were not able to play longer than an hour (or two). We plan to test it more.

Also, I forgot how to set the server to transition the whole party when a single player enters a transition to a different area. Although, we were in the same party, we moved independently between transition points, which is how PWs work. It's not a big deal. I actually don't mind party members having to enter transitions independently.

I must say, it is good to see the old NPCs with great graphics.

I'll report back soon. :)

You're always welcomed, Axe. As for Sunday nights, E and I are flexible, we just have to find a day/time that both Tin and Mac can make. Anyway, as long as you don't run into any game breaking issues, like with IWD, we can try out the mod. Whoever hosts will be the Bhaal spawn and be the "voice" of the party. That way we shouldn't have to worry about breaking quests like that one. Because of our 4G connection, I can't host anymore, so either your or Tin will need to. Tin's connection seems solid and we're able to play Borderlands 2 with him without too many issues aside from some rubberbanding, so I think he should be able to host just fine.

Many thanks 8-)

As far as Sundays go, I could miss the weekly family dinner through the rest of August. I can bare the "evil eyes" from my mom, mother-in-law, and wife for that long. The good news is I will be working 10 hour shifts starting Sept 1. Due to (currently) working 12 hour shifts, I'm not really able play on weekdays (I get home at 7 PM Pacific).

So, in a nutshell, I'm pretty flexible. The order of preference for days I can play are:

Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs, Fri, Sat.

I record Monday Night Football, anyway ;) . Seems special school functions are usually Wed, Thurs, but they're few and far between.

I'm a fifth wheels, so, I'll try to make it to your game, just Sundays are difficult. I may even be able to play twice a week

AE

PS: Start downloading. The BGR files are just shy of 3 gigs. I use Tacho's UI mod for widescreens (on the Nexus somewhere) and the portrait pack for the mod (on the BGR file page)

Are we doing this today?
I'm unsure of where the haks are located, can you post links?

As far as playing availability, I can play weekdays starting at 1pm, up to 430pm Eastern time.
Saturdays I have no time available. My wife's day off.
Sundays I could play earlier or later, start time of 7pm thru an end time of 2am Eastern.

Mac

Well, Sundays I may be able to play 6:30 8:30 pm Eastern and will still have enough time to get to the family BBQs. It is soccer season and a tournament may impede playing on a couple Sundays, but maybe not. I'll be in Truckee Labor Day weekend at a tournament. I have Fridays off :) . Maybe do a Fri, Sun twofer sometimes.

Not tonight, Mac, no.

I just got a text saying that we've used 90% of our 20 gig allowance for this month and it won't reset until the 22nd, so no huge downloads for us until then. We're fine with redoing NWN 1's OC - the files I'll need to send to Tin aren't that big and we're going to be going over anyway; we'd just like to minimize the damage.

Axe, how does 7-9pm EST on Sundays work for you?
