Tin is going to be out next Sunday and since our bandwidth resets on the 22nd, we can wait until the 25th to start the BG mod. That way we can nail down a time and day that works for everybody and get our classes worked out.

Okay, three Sundays from now. 8/25.
I should have my downloads worked out by then. I'm having trouble with some of each of the six part download being corrupt.
I'll try downloading them again and make sure the one missing file from 5 of them is there and not corrupt.
Any clues on where the .tlk files are? I don't see them anywhere and the game says they are missing when I try to start a new campaign.

I guess that explains it, my part 1 download only had music files.
I'll check for tlk files once I download again.
Who knows how much I'm missing from all the files.
Thanks, Axe.

My brother's "Patch 3" was corrupt and he had to re-download it. It took him 19 minutes.

In the posts on the Nexus, a few people had to re-download one or two of the Parts, due to being corrupt. The common thread there seemed to be the "downloaders" were on slow speed connections or wireless connections (not wireless routers, but the main connection ;) ).

Not sure, GW, you may want to take a trip into town and download the big files.

Another option is for me to upload the files somewhere you can download them from a different source.

I'm not downloading wirelessly or on a slow connection. I'll try again and hope for the best.
The good news is that I have three weeks to get it running.
Thanks for your efforts Axe.

No problem :)

My brother has a super fast connection, also. Seems to be luck of the draw.

Axe, downtown here consists of one street. I'll try my luck once our bandwidth resets.

Makes me smile. We went to my wife's family home in The Big Sky Country. One main street, the gas station is also the video rental store and only fast food restaurant, a theater with only one showing/weekend. You must drive over an hour to get to a bigger town.

It's not that small, but most of the businesses are located on the highway that runs through town. But the next larger town is about 45 minutes away. The town has cable, but it stops at the city limits.

Anyway, we should start thinking about what characters we want to play. I know E likes to play non spell casters like rogues, rangers, fighters, and barbarians, but she's pretty flexible. I'm up for a sorcerer, monk, cleric, druid, or spirit shaman. If there are any good monk robes, I may go that route. Whatever I pick, my character will be at Candlekeep studying. While there, he'll have met and befriended you guys.
