NWN Campaigns - Dungeons and Dragons Online Roleplaying Using Neverwinter Nights 1 & 2

Very good game session to start off Chapter three.

Rakhir started off by meeting some of the new players Alek the monk and Knut the Rogue and telling them of what has been going on in the world. Rose joined them by the fire making sure that Rakhir didn't miss anything.

Not too long afterwards Enrith and Mathais came into town joining them. While everyone was getting ready Rakhir went out to the docks only to see the dock guard get attacked by shadowblades. Running to get his companions they all charged into battle. They weren't quite prepared as the Shadowblades were for them. Mathais, Rose, Rakhir, and Alek all fell to the Shadowblades. Luckily, someone bought a raise dead scroll and one by one they all were brought back to the land of the living. From then on they went Shadowblade hunting with no more casualties.

After a visit with Captain Bartley notifying of what occured at the docks they went after the giant ants to the North outside of town. On their way they were joined by Tal Silverstein a dwarf who could come in handy underground. The ants weren't too much of a problem though after killing the Queen Ant Tal noticed a cave in and began swinging away to clear the rubble.

The cave in led to a passage filled by drow protecting a gate. The group put on some Shadowblade hoods pretending to be the enemy. The Dark Elves really didn't care much for them, but let them pass nonetheless. They entered into a drow military city which looked like they were getting an army ready.

From there things were getting late so they headed back up a ladder into the Northern Plains of Barnor and back to town to tell the Captain the Ants have been taking care of.

This game session went very well from a DM's perspective.

It started as Rakhir lead the group to the Pits of Gothoria of what used to be the Hills of Goth. Looking over the edge there was a long ways to the bottom. After doing a little sight seeing they headed down into the caves. While Knut continued to explore above.

Rakhir handed in a letter to the Drow Captain found earlier on a Shadowblade Courier. There seems to be an alliance between the Drow and the Shadowblades for the time being.

After leaving the cave they met up with Knut who was far above them. He found another cave, but wasn't sure what was inside. So he headed back down, and joined the others.

The party continued onward finding more drow settlements within more caves. Until they came upon one cave called the Cave of Water. Assuming it held an Elemental Stone they tried to continue in the cave, but the water was electrified. Though there were two peculiar pillars outside of the water. Rakhir and Knut ran into the water with the electrical current getting stronger each moment. Knut wasn't fortunate enough to survive, but Rakhir made it out with the stone until he passed the strange pillars only to be teleported away somewhere and possibly the stone returned into the cave once more.

With two of the group dead and missing Rose, Mathais and Enrith continued on a bit further. They find a Drow Tavern called the Dragons Claw. Rose had a small conversation with one of the drow belonging to the House of Zexus.

That ended the game session soon afterwards

Things started off a bit slow waiting for people to come online

Once again Rose and Mathais went down into the dark caves of Gothoria, but this time with Onyx a small elven rogue and Tal Silverstein an stout little dwarf.

On their way into the first tunnel they met a strange shadowblade. Rose took a closer look at him and noticed that he wasn't all flesh. With a quick prayer to whomever she worships the Shadowblade exploded into a lot of blood and guts.

The party ventured further into the pits exploring each level for new caves until they came upon the Cave of Wind. It was a very dizzy experience for every few steps the wind would circle them and spin them around which didn't make it easy with creatures of air within the cave. Rose grabbed the symbol of air and they all made for the exit. Rose took a careful step toward the pillars outside the cave door hoping not to be whisked away. A moment later she found that she was still amoung friends and still alive.

Outside the cave were a few dark elves that belonged to the House or Zexus. They apparently were watching and waiting for Rose, Mathais, Onyx and Tal to come out with the Symbol of Wind. After a few hours of debate Rose was unwilling to give it up and to her dismay they killed her on the spot along with Tal and Onyx who tried to defend her. After a quick search of the dead bodies Isendel the drow who killed Rose, Onyx and Tal walked away from the bodies very upset for not recovering the much coveted artifact.

Mathais who stood by and didn't defend Rose watched the onslaught of his comapanions and lived. After Isendel left with his two dark friends Mathais began bringing life back to his companions. Then began the debate on what kind of repercussions Rose's decision of not giving Isendel the artifact would have on their continuing quest.

At this point the game session ended.
