Re: The Dragon's Village 2017
Damn. it, of course my first post didn't post. Trying again.
Apologizing for absence. My wife woke up at 10:15 and decided we had to have real life discussions, which lasted until now, and now I have resulting tasks from that. I think I am going to have to bow out of the campaign as I seem unable to consistently attend - more often that not she wakes up around this time on Sat and immediately requires us to talk about the day/weekend, and either I do it and miss or am late for the game or I don't and she is pissed that I am putting a game ahead of "moving our lives ahead", which she has no sympathy for.

All right, hope it all works out for you, AO.
I have another player who has expressed interest and I will reach out to him this week.

Re: The Dragon's Village 2017
That's a real shame.
Hope you get on with whatever it is you need to do.

I have offered kylerayner a slot in our game. I believe that several of you have played with him in the past.

The group was commissioned by the governor to go to the frontier and boost the local defenses and disrupt the impending horde invasion. He sent a long a squad of soldiers as reinforcements. Gojirio wasn't sure exactly how half a dozen people could do that, but took the gold and figured he could always seek greener pastures if the mission proved too dangerous or impractical to carry out. Besides, there was likely loot to be picked up in all the upheavals of such an invasion.
The early days of travel saw encounters with some beetles and a giant lizard of some sort which had powerful jaws but died quickly enough under their combined efforts. In one stretch, spirits haunted the woods overlooking the road, and the others decided it would be best to clear them all out, so they tromped about thru the trees till all had been dispatched. They found and entered what turned out to be a tomb, though they weren't the first robbers to visit; the place had been stripped clean and they found the remains of one of the looters, and, naturally, the angry spirit of whomever had been buried there. That was laid to rest as well, after a bit of a fight.
Finally the reached the mountains and met an old monk sitting near a small roadside shrine who told them of a mountain king they were supposed to visit and aid. Gojiro wondered who this might be and what benefit would they gain from visiting this guy, but the others seemed to think it was a good idea, so off they went.

((Hey, everyone! Looks like I'll be joining up with you. I'll post at little info as soon as I run it by LB. I'm thinking of playing as some flavor of sorcerer. Looking forward to it!))

After being ripped of by the landlady the group escorted by elite soldiers travelled the land to investigate and help delay or stop the barbarian invasion. On the road they met spirits and strange creatures including a big one with scales...

Will be playing on a win10 DELL "gaming" laptop as soon as I can install/transfer nwn to it. Any advice appreciated.
Also for the record, Tenko is based on 1E Oriental Adventures ninja and designed to somehow overcome the limitations of nwn/3rd edition.
As a result I made him a Dex based dual kama wielding monk who can sneak around and act as a scout. He needs higher BAB and feats like Ambidextry, TWF, ITWF to be effective in melee so for the time being he is using a Chinese crossbow"

Tianlong could scarcely believe what he had heard. It had been so long since any of them spoke to him, in his diminished state he could barely even remember. He might have been angry that they only spoke to him now, when they needed help, but he was more concerned about the chance to reclaim some of his lost honour.
