Heroes of the Peloponnese Game Thread #3
Moderator:Lazybones
IC
The boat trip went fairly well. No bad weather. No giant sea snake or other creature of the deep. No pirates or anything like that. The heroes simply returned to Argos to rest before going to tackle the last trial. Rest? Not quite as they went to deal with a bug problem in a nearby village. After crushing a number of bugs some small and some gigantic they returned to see the King only to be told to go to the edge of the World...
"Did we keep that bug potion? What would happen if I had a drop of that? Would I turn into a giant?"
OOC
Andreas @ 13 now. Will level at the start of the next game. No big change except for the +2 ki strike.

((Just a note t'is that time of year again. Us EU folk have moved back an hour, which for all those located here will mean game begins an hour early next week. US is next weekend, I believe, so it's only one week. Not sure how you other two are affected?))

"We kept the bug potion, but its potency has greatly diminished. All it will do now is cure any spiritual damage*, but it won't turn you into a giant. Sorry."
Damian dug through his pack, looking for the makings for dinner. "I know we're busy helping Heracles, but we need to consider how to deal with that Fey. Otherwise he'll continue to send his minions to harass us and may eventually catch us up against a wall. We can't very well have a thriving village if most people don't want to live there."
//*The potion acts like a restoration spell - not the lesser version, the regular version so it can heal level drain.

Leonaidas wasn't really surprised the village had been targeted; the bugs weren't all that hard to wipe out, but it did distract them for a couple of days. He hadn't paid much attention to the passing of time and wondered if this delay would come back to haunt them. They did only have one more task to do now, though he was clueless as to what it was and where they were headed next.

+1200xp for Andreas, Damian, and Leonidas for IC posting; it's still a bit early so I'll check back in before game time. Hopefully everyone got VM's message and we'll all be okay on the game time. It's still Daylight Savings Time here, it ends tomorrow in the US.
Re: Heroes of the Peloponnese Game Thread #3
Just checking in. Has the curse of Daylight savings struck again? !!

"Actually," Eleni said. "I still have the original titan's draught, the one we found a long time ago. It might still work. But I wouldn't recommend drinking it. There might be... unusual side effects. Like say, your head going splat or your legs breaking under your own weight."
((Ack, sorry for my lateness - just got out of bed due to nasty cold and didn't realize DST was making things screwy)

I just e-mailed VM, we need her since I am not hosting the server!

EDIT: I'll hang around for a few minutes, and if our UK brethren don't arrive I suppose it's time for a coffee break. No conference to attend this week so I can just sit around in my sweats and hang out.
