"So we best that nature boy, eh? Bloody shame that. 'E coulda done right by the town, 'stead 'e 'ad ta wage a one-man war against it. I'd still like ta know what 'e meant by defiling the ground. Most miners respect the earth 'cause they know it's what gives 'em their livelihood. I'm guessin' we may be havin a talk with 'em soon 'nough."

"We might," Shanni agreed, "and I know what we've been asked to do sort of leads in that same direction." She shrugged and and gave a merry smile. "But we have a new task ahead of us, and that's what we should be thinking about! "We get to go and see the isle of Moray, and even meet someone with the title Lord Gelwyn Haight, no less."

"Gelwyn Haight. Gelwyn Haight ..." She rolled the name around a few times. "Gelwyn Haight. It has a certain ring to it, don't you think? All noble and strong." The young woman bit at her lower lip, and impishly contemplative expression on her face. "I wonder if he's handsome too."

Nihmri shrugged.

"It's not our problem any longer, is it? Not unless another mad druid shows up next month with something rabid tucked in his trousers. Which is a possibility I'll not discount entirely, mind you, but I'm not sure if it warrants more thought than this Moray situation. At least not at the moment."

She smiled at Shanni's daydreaming. "He might be all of those things, or none. I could try to divine some answers to that particular question if you like, but I imagine you might prefer to find out the old-fashioned way."

They had followed the trail of the evil animal master. They found him in a grove surrounded by stones. Pius gave the man another chance to surrender and face trial but his attempt to avoid further bloodshed was unsuccessful.

After a fierce fight when Pius himself went down for a moment the devoted were victorious.

"Next time I will not take the extra supplies, I could not retreat even if I wanted to."

"On to our next task it is then! Hopefully Slade will catch up. Perhaps he'll have to get another boat.. In the mean time we should look ahead. Anyone know anything about the island where we're going?" "Or perhaps Chauntea or Orcs in general?" he looked around, hopefully.

+200xp for Toric, Pius, Nimhri, and Shanni for IC posting.

Reminder that the posting deadline is 24 hours before game time (same as last campaign).

We'll assume that Slade caught the boat with you unless karvon is out for another week. We'll start with the group's arrival on Moray. There will be new stores at Highcliff where you can continue upgrading your gear if desired; we'll be spending at least a few sessions on the island.

//I was a bit out of it last session. Would someone give me a recap of what we were discussing before we ended? Thanks.
