What a strange dream Andreas was having, Poseidon at the bottom of the sea surronded by pigs and birds and sunflowers...

I already forgot what we did last week. I remember that my game crashed 2-3 minutes before the session end.

Andreas opened his eyes just in time to crush a bug trying to sample his blood. They were in a swamp. They had found man-like lizards some friendly some hostile. And there was that cult, what was the link between all these creatures and the evil cult?
"Anyone hurt? I still have bandages."

Leonaidas was a bit sad at the loss of Thrax, the Thracian warrior they'd rescued. The man had had a simple and robust view of life, and anyone bold enough to kiss a sleeping sorceress, well, he would have to be commemorated in song for that, if nothing else. He wondered if they would find the answer on how to open that strange door they'd found that barred the way to progressing deeper into the complex, if the map he'd recovered was to be trusted. Maybe there was another way down? In any case, he was going to be very careful.

Telemachus thought it was a shame about Thrax, but he'd had a warriors death in a good cause. Whatever Gods he worshipped would certainly look kindly on him. Clearing this strange little hidden crypt didn't seem to born much fruit so far, a lot of danger without a lot of progress. Still, the deaths of the cultists and their allies, and the scraps of knowledge gained from them was a worthwhile achievement. Hopefully they'd be able to find a way down into the rest of the complex before their enemies became aware of their presence.

Damian sat by the campfire looking despondent. "Why can't we stay somewhere nice?" he asked rhetorically. He sighed and scratched Aias' ears. "Whoever's behind all of this must be powerful if they're able to summon those beastmen and control them. We should be very careful until we're sure what we're dealing with down here."

Polytropos looks a little shaken, a little pale - glancing occasionally at the swept-up remains of the skeletons, as if expecting them to leap back into life. "I thought we were being careful," he replies. "I'll take on soldiers, beasts, even the shades of the dead if I have to, but there's not a lot that we can do against a power that sucks at your strength, or steals your wakefulness. What kind of death is that for a hero?"

"There are ways to ward against such things," Eleni said, pondering. "But I have neither the time nor the materials to puzzle all that out, I'm afraid. And of course, we were not quite certain what to expect when we set sail for this land. A cult like this, it's..."
The sorceress shook her head, as if trying to clear her thoughts.
"I should meditate for a while. Someone please shout very loudly if you wish me to burn things."

With VM still out this week, +1050xp for full-party posting.

PWs are as always.
My Internet connection fritzed a few times last night for about 30 seconds each time. It's stable now but heads-up.
We'll resume with the party encamped within the secret death-shrine.

"Ouch. Hang on a moment."
All it had taken was a thorn. The thing had worked its way inside her buskin and stuck into the sole of her left foot. Kataramene set down her sword and shield then settled on a rock, unlacing her buskin and easing it off, trying not to make the minor nuisance. Raising the foot to rest on her other knee she pulled the thorn out, and bent trying to peer at where it had been.
"I don't think I've got it all out, take a look.... " She looked up seeking attention and found herself alone. Lacing up her shoe hastily she grabbed her shield and sword. Swearing under her breath, set out in the direction she believed the group to have gone.
That was 4 hours ago, and now night was closing in. With an expression as dark as a thundercloud Kataramene stood looking around her, with no one in sight. "When I find you, you are going to be in so much trouble," she muttered to herself. "Just you wait."
