Eleni took in the view of Olympus while her companions minded their weapons, deep in thought.
It was grand and beautiful, of course, but somehow it all felt... so much smaller than she'd imagined. Not just the place - but its inhabitants as well. They were no wiser than their mortal counterparts - made up of all the same follies, merely writ large.
Such thoughts brought to memory lessons from long ago, of all the days her master had tried to teach her of the myriad schools of philosophy he had encountered over the course of his travels. He had never been terribly impressed by the gods of Greece, having found the minds of its thinkers and poets to be of far greater worth. As a young girl, Eleni had found these lessons equal parts bemusing and frustrating - she wanted to learn magic, not whatever this was - but the more she saw of the world, the more wisdom she began to see in them. And the more questions she started asking herself.
Right now, the question she struggled with was this:
If the gods were mortals writ large, what did that make her?

I show only two players out, so we'll play unless someone else can't make it.Topato wrote:// got called into work on late notice, so I wont be able to attend the game tomorrow (if there is one)

"I have been thinking .... that can be pulled in a little, it doesn't quite fit snugly and is going to get in the way .... maybe it's time I stopped .... it needs to be tighter at the waist .... hiding behind a shield, and played to my strengths a little more." The woman turned a little, resisting the firm tugs on straps as her armour was adjusted. "I'm smaller than either of you, I could .... no that's a bit too high, take it down a bit more .... be faster if I didn't use one. Move in and then out again quickly. Might that work?"
She stopped talking and twisted first one way then the other, swinging her sword arm in mock strokes testing, then stood trying to look over her own shoulder and down. "Does my bottom look big in this?"

Polytropos adjusted a tie, pulled a strap to allow weight to spread more evenly across Kat's shoulders. He smirked at the question. "I reckon you could do whatever you wanted," he said. "Only question is, it's a good time to be switching up your style... I have a spare xiphos, if you want to try two... I always liked a shield. I like hitting people with it too, you know? Satisfying. Clunk."
A hand wandered. "And your bottom looks shapely, as always."

Leonaidas was happy with his new bow, it certainly had more pull and punch than his old one, plus the fiery arrows were nice. He wondered how many more of the gods and goddess they'd be running into before they got back to their main task. He was in no hurry to resume that though.

Zair and Topato, I'm going to have your characters rejoin the group in the midst of a Scions quest next session. In the meantime, feel free to post about your solo adventures on Olympus.
