If not then it's back to my leaving my machine running.))
Well, like I said before, if we have to take a summer hiatus it's not the end of the world. My only concern with long breaks is that not everyone will come back and our long game will come to an end. :(

Anyway, I appreciate all the effort that you and Topato have gone to in order to get us a working server. I still wish I knew why mine suddenly decided to stop playing nice, but since I didn't change anything on my end and it only affects certain players (all outside the US) I suspect it's an ISP issue.

A battered Kataramene looked up from similarly bandaging herself. "Either way, four or forty we can't take too much more punishment like this," she winced. "Is it possible for us to head back to Olympus and resupply and rest properly? Or if not there somewhere else that has supplies, I've nothing left worth mentioning now and we will need it." She frowned slightly.

"I have a feeling I wanted to go back there for something else too, but it's lost." The frown deepened. "I wish I could tell how much of what we thought we knew, beyond why we were here, has been taken by that sod we defeated. I feel I've lost something important."

+1500xp for Andreas, Eleni, Polytropos, and Kataramene for IC posting.

EDIT: all right, +2250 for all but you guys gotta post earlier, it's a pain Alt-Tabbing out from NWN while setting up the game.

Leonaidas wasn't happy; these scions and their pets seemed to have very sharp senses, spotting him while scouting at very long ranges. He'd almost gotten killed by one and determined to be a lot more cautious next time out. On that point, he wondered who and where they were headed next.

Zokos sits next to Polytropos and assists him with his bandages, "One of the benefits of being in Olympus is that you can go right to the source of things. Poseidon suggested that I speak with Apollo about healing technique. Add that to the all the practice you've kindly been furnishing me, and I think I'm getting better at this."

Moving over to assist Kataramene, "Apolo says that heroic death is not the same as mortal death, and I suspect that you can withstand more than you think." He looks up from his ministrations to Kataramene and addresses the group, "Not that you should be any less careful."

Zokos makes a careful examination of each party member. He ministers carefully to all their wounds with a combination of ointments and magic. He prescribes a hot bath filled with various herbs, good food, and of course lots of water. After a full night's rest everyone feels in very good shape!

"They say a ship is only as good as its crew, and I do not intend to founder the next time we run into rough weather!"

OOC: I'm feeling much more confident with the healing system. One thing I learned is that my many complete heal spells work even after you fall to 0 or negative health. Before today I was frantically trying to get them to land when you were low, and trying to resurrect people when they were downed (which failed of course because they were not technically dead). I also have quite the arsenal of spell charges on the three Cleric only items you've all given me. I'm very much enjoying the Cleric role, and looking forward to the next session!

Kataramene gently disentangled herself from a slumbering embrace and washed quietly. Taking up her cleaned down clothes and armour she dressed carefully and strapped on the shortsword, adjusting both as best she could as she looked at her reflection in the water. Combing out the thick black hair, she gathered it back from her face and arranging a familiar comb "just so".

Turning back to the bed she smiled as she looked down at the recumbent figure still occupying it. Leaning over she smoothed back his tousled hair fondly, and kissed his forehead lightly. Straightening up as he mumbled and stirred in sleep she murmured, "I won't be long." She then headed for the door.

In the bright warmth of the Olympian sunlight the young woman crossed the paved courtyard, looking around her as she searched for someone. Her stride becoming purposeful as she spotted a particular figure, she approached then bowed respectfully upon drawing to a halt in their presence. Fist clenched to her breast in a salute. Raising her head, but keeping her eyes downcast, she spoke.

"I have a boon to ask if, by your grace, you will listen to it."

((Can't help it, I hate to have my characters just go missing if I can help it, though what she is doing will depend on where you are when I get back. Going to try the server again tomorrow, but if it's not having it I'll leave my computer up and running. Connection details will be the same as usual but I'll verify them before I leave and forward it to LB. Don't have too much fun without me! :) ))
