I tried that but I got "sever couldn't translate address". Any ideas?Topato wrote:// The IP is nwn.mikes-revenge.net (for anyone unfamiliar, you can just write that out where you'd usually write the numerical IP in direct connect and it'll work)

Hopefully last week was just a glitch, but if you can't login tomorrow as a DM try as a player, and I'll see what I can do.Felrisen wrote:I tried that but I got "sever couldn't translate address". Did Andreas miss the simple life of the village, the city, the arena or perhaps the little estate they had and where they planned to train gladiators? Sure sometimes it felt like a normal life was not that bad. It could be pretty good if you had, friends, family, enough gold and a roof over your head. Would they be able to go back to that some day? If so, when? So many questions...

No sooner do the Heroes' feet touch hallowed Olympian stone than Polytropos's sandals are flapping away as he goes in search of something, calling to the others that he'll meet them soon, promise! And he is gone, wounds and aches be damned, a strut in his step and a cradling of the new shield he bears.
***
Some hours later, he returns, smiling and seemingly content in himself, seeming in a reflective mood. "Hey, fellows," he asks. "Assuming we get through this alive, and we defeat the Scions... and it's looking like we might, after all? What should we do after that? What do we want to do, after that?"

The scions plaguing the Spartans had been dispatched and they had all survived, but Leonaidas was getting tired of battling all these demigods and demigoddesses who seemed to have no treasures. Or, at least he hadn't seen any. The Spartans had given one of the warriors a nice shield, so perhaps it wasn't all for nothing. He sure would be happier with a bit more gold in his pockets though.

"That is a fair question Polytropos," says Zokos, looking thoughtfully at the healing herbs he had been carefully sorting, "And one that had occurred to me as well."
He stands and stretches, then stares out the window briefly, arms crossed. Turning, he strides purposefully for the bathhouse, "Only the Gods know what is over the horizon, and they clearly are not willing to tell us. At this moment the only thing I know for sure is that there will be bloodshed in the near future and that I have a bathhouse of the gods at my immediate disposal."
"But I think I should like to see what is over the horizon some day!" he calls from the other room, as you hear him plunge into the beautifully scented, steaming waters.

Eleni looked up from her book at the question. She frowned in silence for a few moments.
"One day," she eventually began. "I think I will leave. Retrace my master's steps and head east. I am not sure if I will return. I suppose it depends on what I find there. But I do know that there is much of the world that I still want to see, and many things I want to learn that I cannot learn here."
She paused for a few seconds more, then shrugged.
"I probably will not do so for a while yet, though. So fear not. I know you would all be hopelessly lost and confused without me around."

"Hah! Don't count your Scions before they're slain!" Chuckled Telemachus. "If we finish this task I'm sure there'll be another quest waiting for us. I hope so, I wasn't made for a sedentary life. If we defeat all the monsters in Greece maybe I'll go with you Eleni, and see what kind of adventures there are in the east."

"Who says I'll let you tag along?" Eleni said with a teasing smile. "Having a great unwashed Greek brute at my side is unlikely to help make a great first impression. Why, you'd probably just get me into trouble. Accidentally calling people great big hippopotami because you didn't bother learning the language properly - that sort of thing."
