In Hell and back in one piece... almost
Somehow they got out. Back "home".
Alone in the bitter cold, with no plan or place to go Majid decided to retreat and get help.
He went to see the snake lady and found the others. Was it just a bad dream then? There was no clear explanation. Magda came up with a new idea, they quickly moved to the "stargate" and voila she opened it.
The forest was quiet, except for the zombies coming out of nowhere. Majid was happy to be "home" he was back in the forest. He went for a walk, taking the time to look around and smell the flowers. He could not stay alone for too long he went back. They were still in the same place talking. They could not tell it was him. They kept saying what is this badger doing here. Badger? Somehow he had turned into an animal again. They found humans. Rebels in fact. They spoke. Majid joined them as himself but before long the camp was under attack. There was no time for explanation, they rushed to the barricade to stop the zombies and Majid turned into a brown bear to fight...

Before retiring for the night, Junter offered his skills as a healer to the camp. Then led a short service for any refugees interested. His main theme was on the importance of perseverance, and standing before the darkness; for the dawn always comes.

They'd got out, but with two more of them missing. If they didn't make their way back that would be two more of their deaths to lay at the feet of the High Priest. Sleepless, she looked out of the open doorway of the almost ruinous shack and watched the guards move around in the firelight. These people were in the same position. For a reason that either hadn't been fully explained, or probably wasn't fully understood, he'd decided to destroy a country. It had descended into a fight for everyday survival, in which only some legend spouted by the priest of some death god could aid them, and which only they could be spared to investigate. On top of which one of them now appeared to turn into animals at a moments notice. No pressure.

((Spending an extra night in Cornwall so not travelling back until tomorrow. I'm 50/50 for the game, depending on traffic on the way back and if Himself decides something can be visited on the way or not. Will try to get a message through to someone before game if I'm definitely not going to be.))
Re: Saturday Morning Guns, Goblins, and Steel
In the following morning, they left the safety of the camp to profit from the daylight an avoid fighting dead people. They crossed part of the forest and found an old dungeon. Only a priest could get them into the ruins. Lucky they had one among them. Majid was not sure if the things they had found would suffice but that was the best course of action at the moment...
