It is now approaching midnight on Tarsakh 3. Earlier in the evening, Aerikoth and Njord departed Thessar's house in the Shore in order to prepare for the planned meeting with an as-yet-unknown agent of the Lord of the Crypt in the Market district. Darrow, Dermot and Rosten then headed out on their own, planning to meet up with their comrades before the scheduled time.
