Spring / Summer break plans

I expect there will be a lot of breaks over the next few months, so would like to keep track of things for planning purposes. Hope everyone enjoys their vacation and travel plans. I'll start off with mine. Unfortunately my May travel schedule works out so I'll be gone for just a little over two weeks, but that translates into three Sundays due to the air travel.

I will be around all summer except for June 7th and possibly 14th - vacation.

I expect that during the summer months the party will be based in a location where individual PCs can be "off-camera" during sessions without a problem, so the others can continue adventuring (or drinking at the local tavern, or whatever).

We're starting to enter summer vacation period, since over the next three sessions (at least) we won't have 100% presence in-game. I've therefore posted an IC topic to help things along for the May 31 session where VM will be absent; Ken will be out the following two weeks.

If the group can move the action via IC posting to the point where everyone agrees in general on their next moves, we should be able to keep playing during the summer, with absent PCs doing useful "off-camera" activities worked out with the DM.

I will accept whatever decisions the group ends up making, but will suggest that at minimum the PCs work out what will be done with Losifan Urdo at the Mercenaries Guild, along with where the group wants to relocate to if it intends to leave Westgate for a while. We can run the action for the meeting at the Merc Guild via posts, if that is desired. Afterwards, assuming the group decides to leave Westgate, PCs can either travel together or make their way separately to the next location; any PC with a bit of business in Westgate to settle before moving on is welcome to do that privately with the DM either in-game or via PM/email.

Looking at the updated travel plans for July/August - in which I'll be out for 4 weeks, it appears - plus other folks' travel plans in July, it seems like it would be best to declare a summer break for July-August. This would mean the June 28 session would be the last one before the break, and we would come back on September 6. We can discuss further during the session.

I may be getting baby furniture next weekend, although the Mrs is pretty good about making time for The Game . Are we still on? I'm looking forward to it.

You beat me to the punch. Since it's the holiday Labor Day weekend in the U.S., we'll need to postpone a restart until the following Sunday (September 13).

I will warn folks, though, that I'll be on a 10th wedding anniversary trip with Mrs. DM to Europe for three Sundays soon after (September 27 - October 11). We therefore have the choice of restarting and playing on September 13 and 20, followed by a break for three weeks, or restarting on October 18.

So barring a hurricane or some kind of tropical storm I'll be out and about.

I'll be there for the session on the 27th though.

Happy to leave it to whatever is the best for you guys. Being very busy at work right now I really won't mind mind a delay, so don't worry about doing so if that's the best option.
