Hmm, DirectX isn't on the exceptions list so it must be blocked, thing is I'm not sure where on this comp I can find DirectX, I'll have a look and see if I can find it.

Check the Windows\system32 folder.

I tried connecting with firewall temporarily off and it made no difference.

So I guess we'll be trying Diablo II next week?
I don't have the expansion for that one.

If you're on XP, Purple, try running it in Windows 98 emulation. If you're on Vista, then I don't know what to suggest.

Hmm, I tried that but it still didn't work, although switching to 98 compatibility for the game made the computer go all congested to so I may need to restart the comp now.

Alright. Seems like I can't host. Heh. Alright, Diablo it will be! At least for now till Gulf can host NWN again.
