Vanya Mia's Ship of the Silver Void Campaign
Huffing he hurries back down the corridor trying to reach the other door before it slams shut. Cursing between pants at he stupidity of this farce of a job. There has got to be easier ways to earn some coin.
Re: Vanya Mia's Ship of the Silver Void Campaign
It was clear that the perils and twists of this place were wearing upon his companions. Devram was used to long hours of drudgery on the farm, so perhaps he was more accustomed to the sort of tenaciousness needed to get past these puzzles. He was more concerned with what they would find when they got to the end of this maze. Clearly the master of this realm knew they were coming... would he hand over the mirror? Or just slaughter them for his amusement?

"I hopes this mirror is worth the troubles." She scratched her but, "Shoulda ate some of those foods we left in the maze, I is gettin' hungry." Toad shuffled off the pressure plates, then back on trying to find a a place to drive in a spike that might keep it active. "I gots plenty of them spikes, maybe if we spike these or even spike the doors open." She puzzled, "I know where I woulds like ta put a spike when we finds the master of this house!"

OOC: Good game, all! I'm traveling again next week, but after that should be good to go until sometime in August. Good luck! See you in two weeks!
Re: Vanya Mia's Ship of the Silver Void Campaign
Davick grabbed Devram's shoulder and bid him to wait. "So, now that we have the mirror, what are we going to do with it? You guys made a deal with a kobold who doesn't sound like the rightful owner of this mirror and there was a woman in a tavern who claimed it was hers. Do we give it to either of them or do we keep it for ourselves? I may be a rogue, but I don't like working for thieves. Before you say anything, there is a difference. A rogue will lead you safely to your treasure while a thief will stab you in the back as you're leaning over the box and take it for himself."

OOC:
I talked to two of my players about joining us: one's in Hungary and the game is too early for him and the other said he would think about it. I gave him the link to this thread and told him to pm you if he's interested, VM. I'd ask my wife, but she's currently writing and she doesn't game much when she gets into her writing.

Ash slides to the front of the party with a smile on his face. "This better no tricky doors or.... slippery trails. Me ready to smash something."

"That lil' lizard had some big guards with big weapons. He also seemed to have a lots of monies." Toad looked at the mirror she had in her pack. "I would'nts mind ta find outs what this here looking glass does b'fore we give it ta him but if we breaks a deal...my guess is that we will be on the run and that ain't sound much fun ta me." She grimaced as she looked in the mirror, "It ain't makin' me any bester lookin', anyone wants ta hold this thing?" She looked around hopefully.
Re: Vanya Mia's Ship of the Silver Void Campaign
The mirror didn't seem like much, certainly not worth the trouble they'd gone through to get it. But now that they had it, they had to deal with the consequences, and a more complicated situation than they'd initially bargained for.
"I'd say we get back to Sigil as quickly as we can, and settle our bargain. Let the woman deal with Grythsz if she wants the mirror. Of course, from what we've already learned, I have a pretty good feeling that she'll be waiting for us when we return to Ysgard. So I guess we need a contingency plan."

Re: Vanya Mia's Ship of the Silver Void Campaign
*snorts* All this bloody work we did to get the fraggin mirror, we should demand more in payment. *then scracthes his silvery beard* We could start a biddin war between the two parties and really jack the price up.
