Yep. We're doing the NWN 2 OC, Mac. Tin's going with a halfling rogue, I'm doing a human cleric, and E has a human ranger, so that leaves a spell slinger if you want it. If you don't, we could always use a real tank. ;) Anyway, I've already gotten to level 3 and exported my toon and E will be doing the same thing on her end before our next first game since the last one had so many issues. I think it'll be better if we do the tutorial on our own rather than try to go through it again.

I'll work on making a spellcaster. I'm not sure how to export the character to Tin, but I'm willing to use some guidance on the matter.

Don't worry about the export Mac were going to start fresh. As for my rogue I was thinking of aiming for arcane trickster with it so would have some arcan ability.

if I remember right, the arcane trickster is a few levels of magic user and a lot of rogue. If we need a fighter type, I can make a weapon master again.

Is the export file just a save on the local hard drive that can be loaded, when we get in the game, at hopefully the same point?

Yep. It works just like NWN, Mac. As long as Tin allows local characters, we can skip the tutorial and head straight into chapter 1. After that, he can switch to server vault because a copy of characters will be in the save game.

I found this mod on NWN2 Nexus recently and it looks like it'd be interesting. I took the four provided henchmen along with my cleric and was able to defeat the first encounter of an ogre and a bunch of goblins with only one casualty: the gnome wizard. The author says some of the battles are tough, but I think we can get through them. If you guys want, we can play that with our level 1s, or go with the OC. Either way is fine with us.

Okay, I made an elf wizard. I'm saved at the point where the town is attacked and I'm still upstairs heading downstairs.
