Heroes of the Peloponnese Game Thread #2

"Er, are you certain you are feeling alright, Damian?" Eleni said, brow raised in vague concern. "We already know what that obnoxious king wants us to do next. He wants us to capture the Ceryneian Hind. Which is why we are here. In this forest. In Ceryneia. Hunting a hind. A hind which is sacred to Artemis, which means that hunting it can surely only lead to pain and suffering. Our pain and our suffering. Remember?"
She sighed.
"You know, I really feel bad for Heracles' family and all, but this is starting to get quite silly."

"No, I'm not feeling alright. I was hoping hunting the Hind was a bad dream. Dredging through an awful swamp, then being forced to stalk a magnificent creature does that sometimes." He glared at the forest. "I could still use a bath though."
((I was going by what Mirge said in his post, so blame him.

"Come on, this one can't be as bad as having to fight giant monsters." Tel said, trying to sound cheerful. "All we've got to do is catch a big deer. It doesn't even have poison teeth or flaming breath or anything! And don't worry about Artemis, she's goddess of the hunt right? Can't hate us for hunting something, especially if we don't even kill it."

This whole thing was beginning to get old fast. Leonaidas began to idly compose some ditty's in his mind about the cowardly Herakles who got others to do his dirty work for him since he was actually a coward. Not that he would ever perform them, mind you, no reason to tick off a reputed demi-god; he had enough troubles dealing with the real ones of late. He wondered if it was the big deer they actually had to worry about, or some sort of nasty local guardian.

"Ah yes... the dear... I almost forgot."
"I guess it's no bath yet then"
"And what the King want with that sacred animal?"
Andreas took a deep breath of fresh air listening to the birds and looking around for some unknown animal or plant.
"This place is much better than that smelly swamp."

"Eh, we have to get this done." Kataramene looked sideways at Polytropos. "Then there's time to ask questions ... about how we should proceed." She nods at Telemachus. " I agree, though, lets do as little as possible to anger the Lady. Respectful is the way forward if we can."
Re: Heroes of the Peloponnese Game Thread #2
Polytropos gritted his teeth. "We're taking it alive, right? Maybe we can say we're just... borrowing it."

Sorry guys, NWN locked up and crashed when I tried to enter the Aracdian Highlands; three attempts to login lead to the same results.

OOC
Will be away around August 24th-25th. Will I have a good internet access? Not sure. Therefore if I do a post on next Thursday or Friday I should be ok otherwise count me out. Happy hunting.
Also, I have no idea how good my connection will be. Have you guys tried playing in a hotel room?
