After Damian handed the potion to Kat to help her with her foot pain, he sat down and started sorting through his herbs. He stopped suddenly and sniffed one. "Gods! Kat, don't drink...Damn it! Well, hopefully your pain won't get worse, but I doubt it'll get better. My herbs seems to have gotten soaked by the swamp water and lost a lot of their potency. Sorry, Kat, I should have caught that." He shook his head. "I'll dump these out and replace them. I can make you another potion that will work if your feet don't get better soon. I suggest that you stay off of them as much as possible in the meantime."

"Ah, this is going bad already," Polytropos opined, keeping an eye out on the snowline through a crack in the door. "This was only a matter of time, wasn't it/ Hera's big plan to get Heracles killed. Have him accrue the wrath of so many other beings that Nemesis herself practically descends down to strike him. Only it's not him but US getting the shaft."

A flaming boar, right; Leonaidas checked a side pouch of his pack and noted the robe of fire resistance he'd purchased long ago, and never worn, was still neatly wrapped. Maybe it wasn't really flaming? On the other hand, perhaps it wouldn't like ice magic much? He checked his quiver and found a few arrows enchanted with frost that might prove useful, if that was the case. They were supposed to catch it though, so maybe the arrows wouldn't be such a good idea.

"...well, looking at things more positively, we probably don't risk getting hunted down by an angry god this time, yes?" Eleni offered, not sounding entirely convinced of her argument. "I mean, that turned out quite well, all things considered. But I doubt we would get quite so lucky twice in a row. On the other hand... I have no idea how we are actually to pacify this great boar, I must say."

If we can drive it into a ravine or gully full of snow our it might make it easier to subdue. I don't know how we'll persuade it to come back with us though... If we're going to keep having to catch monsters we should probably invest in some chains, or a hell of a lot of rope.

Same problem as last time; NWN crashes when I attempt to enter Arcadian Highlands.
I will stand by for a bit, but figure you'll likely have to reset the server for me to rejoin at this point; not sure that's a viable option if you have stuff set up.

"So that's another challenge down for Heracles' 'sin'." Damian sighed before continuing, "I thought pride was also a sin? Maybe I heard wrong. Or maybe that king and his advisor chose to ignore that particular teaching." He looked around the hunting lodge and patted the old dog's head. "We should stay here and wait for the others. There's no telling what King Augeas wants us to do. I hope whatever it is, it isn't an odorous task like the last ones were; though I'm not going to hold my breath on that."
"Speaking of the others, I hope Kat's feet are finally better. I don't know why those spikes affected her more than us. Maybe she needs to get new sandals. That or toughen up her feet," he grinned. "I can see why Pol stayed with her: he's practically wrapped around her finger. I'm surprised he doesn't wag his tail when she looks at him. I don't know why Andreas stayed behind, I hope he's okay. We'll need all three of them should we come across another giant lizard* like that white one in the mountains. It's a good thing we found this skull helmet, or we would have all run away from it and possibly been dinner. At least its hide should make for a good set of armor. Seeing as how that lizard seemed to thrive in the cold, I'm betting that its hide has some immunity against the affects of cold, which could come in handy because I've seen wizards conjure cold winds and the like. It won't help against Eleni's fire though," he winked at Eleni.
"Before I forget, Demeter has graced me with additional powers. I can now call lightning one more time and I can summon the spirit of the tiger. I can also summon a deadly ice storm, but unlike the lightning, it will affect all it falls on, so I'll have to be careful where I aim it; I'd rather not have a repeat of that fire incident...I'm also not going to ask for dominate animal since it failed so miserably with the giant boar. Still, I was able to distract it long enough for Eleni to charm it, so maybe it wasn't a total waste. But running around being chased by an animal as large as a cottage doesn't particularly appeal to me."
"I don't know about the three of you, but Aias and I are hungry so I'll get dinner started. It's a shame we didn't take any of that lizard's meat, it might have been good eating."
((*We fought a white dragon that nearly had the whole party running away in fear. If it wasn't for Shadani's magic missles, we might have all died.))

I had trouble getting online in my hotel. We also had power outage. Worse, since I was treated as VIP I had little time for myself therefore I rarely touched my computer during this trip. I wish we had be informed earlier of the busy schedule...
For the IC part, I am not sure what to write. You guys went to some snowy mountain to chase the boar...

Once again, Andreas was behind the group. It was never a problem because he could move faster and catch up providing he could either see or hear the others or if there was fresh tracks that he could follow. This time however he got really behind, following the wrong tracks for a while before turning back. He eventually reached the foot of a snowy mountain, trying to find the group was now more difficult. He progressed sometimes on hard rocks, sometimes in heavy snow always trying to reach a peak where he could see afar. At one point, he noticed something, perhaps the reflection of a shiny shield in the sun or something alike. As he pressed forward in the deep snow he fell in a hole below the surface. Without a rope he would have to climb out or die trying...
