"I can train people to fight in the arena or for other challenges but what I would prefer is to train a few trainers so that when we are called to save a village or something the school can continue..."

Andreas looked at the others with open hands...

"If you, we even, are going to do that then we need to find some more to train," Kataramene replied. "Right now there's a lot more trainers than trainees, and that's not going to work either. Much though I regret leaving the comforts this place has to offer so soon," she gave a private little grin, "that's not going to change while we sit here. I think we're probably going to have to get out and about a bit to do that."

"Hmmm..." she paused thoughtfully. "There's always buying some slaves but do you think we could find some places where we could lend a hand, like when we aided the Spartans, and advertise the existence of the place as we do so? That might attract aspiring heroes to the training school and be a bit more fun than just buying slaves." Her eyes sparkled a little at a sudden thought.

"We might then make it a school for heroes and not just any old gladiators, don't you think?"

"We should pay a couple of travelling merchants to advertise for us, I'm sure we'll get recruits if we can get the word out in some of the cities we've visited. Before that though, we should probably have the facilities to house and train them. we can't have them sleep in an open stable."

Leonaidas wasn't happy. He wasn't pleased to be boarding out in the country instead of in the large villa in town. There was not much audience to perform for, certainly not a paying one. No taverns or inns to frequent for food and drink. Not much in the way of ladies to a dally with either, aside from a few of the nearby villagers. Yes, this was a definite step down from what he had grown accustomed to. He would have to see about arranging room and board at place in town, perhaps in exchange for some weekly performances. He could also keep an ear to the ground and collect news and info which might be helpful to the heroes living out in the sticks. Yes, he'd have to look into this first chance he got. Country life, definitely wasn't for him.

Nearby, Polytropos has his feet up on a table, resting his arms behind his head. "Sounds good to me! I've got a lot I can teach, I know that. But there's no rush, is there? We've travelled from one end of the world to the other and back again! Time to cool our heels, pour some wine for the Gods and relax a little, says I."

He looked around for a moment. "I said, wine!" He frowned. "Do we actually have any servants here?"
