"You should have used the .. whatever it is on your sword." Kataramene unbuckled her sword and placed it on a chair, next to the propped up shield, within easy reach. "Yours is superior to mine and could have been one truly fit for a hero if you had, something to make a demi-god cautious, and we'll need that." She paused and then sat on the end of the bed, unlacing her sandals.

"You'll need that, where we are going. You're almost always first to the fight, ranging ahead like you do, and it might be ... well we might not catch up fast enough." She paused again, then spoke with a meaningful tone belying the casual nature of the words. "And I'd hate that."

There was another pause as she finished unlacing the sandals, tossed those in a corner with disregard, and unfastened her himation. "Also, pull that holding-your-breath thing on me again and I'll make you pay. Trust me."

((OOC - Sorry to see you leave, GW, but like T says. Any chance of a later return?))

OOC: Ack! Hope you guys are ok, GW, I know that's some expensive stuff. Hang in there! Sorry to see you go.

... can we have Damian's stuff? (kidding!)

"Making a demigod cautious?" Polytropos smiled lopsidedly as he pulled his linothorax over his head. "You know better than that... it's not the sword that makes the hero. Or the heroine. Don't matter what anyone says, you're among the best of us. About time you had something worthy of you." He sniggered and looked at her, seeking eye contact, waiting for her to look at him before he spoke. "I know which goddess I favour in a fight."

"And no promises on holding my breath, if that's what it takes to get you knowing it." He snuck closer, hands finding her waist. "I'll wager I can handle any punishment you can give."

Sorry to have you go, Gulfwulf, we are all indebted to you for helping to set up and maintaining this site.

I will look around for a replacement player but I'm not sure if any are out there at the moment. Similarly feel free to circulate news of this game among your NWN-playing friends, and if you know someone who might be interested have them contact me. The group is high enough level now that they can handle themselves against most threats, though the lack of any divine caster does make things a bit harder for the team, and we will be more vulnerable to losing sessions due to absences (I'd say we change the rule to playing when at least 4 of 6 are available).

Mirgalen, I'm not entirely sure which item you have an issue with, PM me in-game if you have any specific questions. As DM/builder I do try to consider which items are appropriate (you'll notice that there are very few damage reduction, perma-haste, and regen items in my campaigns, that's on purpose). But NWN campaigns tend to be high magic just because that's the nature of a video game. If anything in a "normal" NWN campaign you'd probably have every single item slot full with glowy magic loot at this level.

Looks like +1500xp for Leonidas, Polytropos, Andreas, and Kataramene.

I have a RL friend who hasn't played NWN before, but he's a long-time gamer and role-player who is interested in joining us. He wouldn't be able to join for a few weeks but I'll keep you posted in the thread.

Once again the heroes went to the old temple in order to reach the forge and enhance their weapons with better magic. Andreas was there for the action, making sure no guardian would stop them. There was a huge badger somewhere near the staircase something Andreas did not like since the nasty buggers were often quick to bite anyone coming too close to them. There was still no news from Damian something a bit worrying yet Andreas pretended everything was all right not to alarm his friends.

"Are you done? Can we get out of here before more guardians manage to find us?"
