Heroes of the Peloponnese Game Thread #3

Andreas was relaxing in the house. Sometimes there was nothing better than a warm bath and an amphora of divine wine.
The only missing thing was the good company. In Greece, one could have twenty horses and a household full of servants and slaves and even a cohort of admirers but in Olympus, they were no mortals to meet, chat, share a good meal or spend the night with. It would be unwise to befriend the Gods as they were often unpredictable. Andreas got out of the water and walked out of the room dressed in blue. He wanted to go practice but again there was no proper place at least nothing they had seen. Soon, they would have to go fight some other Gods or prevent them to turn the world upside down...

//Got a possible work around for not being able to connect DM clients, it'll work if I use the "Load LAN game" option from the player client. Is that acceptable? Will I be able to load the proper save from that?
Re: Heroes of the Peloponnese Game Thread #3
((Tested the server this morning with some port changes having been made and there's still no dice on the DM client. The server vault on there is completely up to date though. There's no save game, you just load the module, so you could do that T, but it needs you to be around as only you have the permissions to do it. If you can get it working then cool, but I'll leave this machine up just in case you choose to use it.))

// Ok server is up, I have managed to log in as a DM. I can't get remote control working yet, but I can put it up at will. If the DMs could log in early and check that everything is OK that'd be great. The IP is nwn.mikes-revenge.net (for anyone unfamiliar, you can just write that out where you'd usually write the numerical IP in direct connect and it'll work)

Seemed to work okay for me. We'll try Topato's server first, and use VM's as a backup.
I was able to connect directly to Topato's server in my History tab, from our previous effort to get it working. If you logged onto it before it should be there, otherwise use Topato's instructions above.
Thanks to both Topato and VM for all the effort you guys put into making sure we have a gaming home.

Polytropos lays awake for the rest of that night, alone. He rises with rosy-fingered dawn, bathes himself mechanically, performs his typical sword-swinging warmups grim-facedly, and takes his food without comment. He finally joins the group, looking subdued. "Are we moving soon?" he says gloomily. "Kat... Kataramene's staying here for a while."

Eleni meditated. Or at least, she tried to.
No matter what she tried, she could not stop thinking about the devastation she had witnessed in Corinth. So much death and pain - the scars of which would surely take years or decades to heal. She tried to tell herself that they had stopped it, but knew that probably wasn't true - turmoil on this scale creates a vicious spiral that would bring even more suffering. And even if the recovery went as well as could be expected, Corinth's neighbours would probably not hesitate to take advantage.
This line of thinking led to a grim conclusion: the same was true of all the chaos wrought by the Scions. Its effects might well echo for centuries. And very little of them would be pleasant.
The sorceress let herself fall back unto her bed, abandoning her meditative stance. It seemed she wouldn't be terribly sucessfull trying to clear her head today.

Telemachus raised an eyebrow at that, but made no comment. "Yes, we should get moving. There are plenty more Scions on that list, and as we found out, some of those names refer to multiple enemies. Who's next in line for us to hunt down?"

Leonaidas wandered around Olympus taking in the sights; how many people could claim to have done the same he wondered? When he tired of his exploring, he made his way back to the guest villa and found a comfortable empty bed to stretch out on. He drifted off to sleep with a bottle of wine clutched in his hands.
