Pius followed Toric. Travel by sea was not his favourite. There was nothing like having your feet on the ground or riding in the countryside. There was something a bit sinister about large bodies of water. None could tell what was beneath and what giant sea monster could emerge and swallow fisherman and boat altogether...

"Barely here, and already it seems that duty calls us elsewhere," Nihmri said, musing aloud. "Fear not, however! I shall be sure to pack my harp. And my deck of cards, if nobody objects. Just don't complain if your readings involve an inordinate amount of rabid animals feasting upon your innards, hm?"

"I have to say, I'm hugely relieved that this is the sort of thing that will be expected of us. When we arrived I was worried I might have to spend years in quiet contemplation." He grins, ruefully.
"I'm sure we were all called in our own ways and for our own reasons; mine is a call to arms, and to action. My service is to my fellow man as well as my god. Being holed up on that lonely island would have been maddening!"

"Then it's good that we all braved the unknown, trusted to our luck, and so earned the favour of the Lady. We've been granted a reward." Shanni responded, her voice full of excitement, and she beamed brightly. "And it's more adventure! We've been blessed with high seas adventure!"

"With luck the wind will be behind us and the fair weather will continue, so we'll be there in no time," the young woman tossed the blonde hair. "If we hold true to this ideal, believe in it, we can't go wrong!"

Suula rolls her eyes at all this posturing from her sister, scowling in Shanni's shadow and looking for all the world like some caricature of Envy. "And after a statement like that, we may as well all just jump into the sea and get it over with," she mutters darkly. "Less painful than the wild animals thing. Be sure to wear your heaviest armour as we get on board, everyone..."

((Apologies, when everyone else was able to log in without a reminder I knew the IP hadn't changed, so believed you unable to make game and didn't think to check. My bad, and truly sorry. :( Will be sure to verify next time.))

((Also looks like I will be away next weekend, off to see friends. I will set up server before I go, and someone will be around so if there is an issue I may be able to get something done about it.))
