Devotion Campaign Planning and Discussion Thread

"There certainly seems to be a lot afoot for a small island." pondered Amathain. "I'm sure by now we must all suspect something more sinister in the background than mere animal attacks. It looks like we'll be doing some investigation."
Re: Devotion Campaign Planning and Discussion Thread
"Aye, laddy. 'Tis more afoot than just changed beasts. Someone must be changin' 'em, but who and why? If'n we find out those we can stop it. Anyway, that temple of yers might hold some answers. 'Least we can clean it out so yer brothers can make use of it again."
Re: Devotion Campaign Planning and Discussion Thread
Toric and Pius had no trouble during the journey on the small ship. Not all had the same luck. The group eventually arrived in a small town after a less than eventful journey paused only by the lack of wind.
After getting on shore they found themselves trying to defeat some unknown evil.

For 2-3 years now I have playing on a Mac laptop (much faster than my old win7 netbook). I play pc nwn using a custom wine wrapper. I play in full screen. I am getting plenty of "auto switch to desktop". A lot more than before. It kills immersion and make me lag behind the group. Anybody got quick fix or a good idea for me? Thanks.

Re: Devotion Campaign Planning and Discussion Thread
"Ah, it's good to be back in something that vaguely resembles civilization, isn't it?" Nihmri's good cheer seemed to be largely unaffected by the events of the day. "I mean, it's hardly Tashluta. Barely worth calling a city, really. But there's people here! People who aren't our alleged betters, even! It's positively exhilarating."
"I suppose we can go see about that temple of yours, goldilocks. But we've more important things to handle, first. Things like dinner. And sleep. And baths. Because really, have you smelled us? We are not presently in the possession of a heroic aroma."

((Setting server up. Unless there is trouble it's 80.4.11.238 with the usual password. This is a new rig, and updates have been giving some trouble, so I'll try and get my lad to check before game.))

Re: Devotion Campaign Planning and Discussion Thread
Yeah it's not up right now for me either.
Well, if it's not running tomorrow we'll take a week off.
LB
EDIT: And if it is up and running, +200xp for Pius, Toric, Amathain, and Nihmri.

Re: Devotion Campaign Planning and Discussion Thread
Looks like the server is still down. I'll check once more as we get to game time, but for now it appears that the session is off this week.

((Topato and myself have successfully bugged VM's lad into restarting the server. Password is 'play' instead of the usual.))
Re: Devotion Campaign Planning and Discussion Thread
Aha! Excellent. Now to see if I can get in as DM...
EDIT: It worked! And the server even kept going when we had that disconnect.
