Devotion Campaign Planning and Discussion Thread

"I do agree indeed. The message to return to the Temple asked us to return as soon as possible, they have never been frivolous with their summonses or the missions we have been assigned. I doubt there is time for us to dawdle."
Re: Devotion Campaign Planning and Discussion Thread
Slade listened as the others debated the options; he didn't really care which option they pursued, as long as it was profitable in the long run. His new bow certainly had made this trip worthwhile.

You'll all need to download some additional haks (beyond CEP 2.4) to run the next mod. There are some various versions of these floating around on the Vault but in order to avoid problems I just put them into a RAR file and posted them to Vanya Mia's Box account.
Download them here: https://app.box.com/s/j92xh5v4m9tzmpp7a5c8822ovraha4bm
There are three files that all go into your NWN/hak folder.

The team returned home only to found the lower levels and the caves below the temple infested by giant leeches. The little imp creature held captive below the temple may have been responsible in some way.
Nevertheless Pius did not like the fact that the little devil was left there alone in the dark. Releasing him may be out of the question but perhaps there was another way.
"I say we send him back to whatever lower plane he came from or perhaps a Mage could handle him somehow. The creature is intelligent so I guess one may be able to persuade him to behave."

Toric stared at Pius for a few seconds before bursting out laughing. "I knew ye were pure, lad, but I didna know ye were naive as well. An imp behavin' itself? Ye'll see that the same day ye see me a bearded Gnome! 'Tain't gonna happen, lad. Best thing ta do is leave it fer the Prelate ta deal with. She's the one that bound it, so she can be the one that unbinds it. Anyway, we got a boat ta catch and ain't got time fer babysittin'." He grinned and went to pack up his gear for the trip.
Re: Devotion Campaign Planning and Discussion Thread
"It's not our problem any longer, now, is it?" Nihmri said, sounding somehow vaguely slighted. "Cast to the winds as we are, to fend for ourselves in an unfamiliar land. Oh, the things we must endure for our faith. Let the demon-ling be, I say. If it needs dealing with, there's no shortage of people wiser and more experienced than us on hand to do so."
In the preparations for the acolytes' departure, Nihmri quite uncharacteristically faded somewhat in the background, spending much of her time in the library while she still had the chance. She traveled light, it turned out, and was evidently not particularly enthusiastic about the journey ahead of her.
((It's looking likely I won't make it next session. Off-chance I do, but probably best to assume you'll be Nihmri-less!))

"Well I have to admit it is not quite the assignment I expected" Amathain said, as he made the few preparations necessary for their journey. "I was expecting a bit more direction than "Go to the sword coast", but no doubt the prelate knows more than she lets on. Perhaps there is a greater mission there waiting for us to find it.

Re: Devotion Campaign Planning and Discussion Thread
Slade didn't have anything tp pack beyond what he carried in his backpack. He wondered what lay in store on the sword coast for the group. Given the nature of the region, he didn't doubt they'd lack work.

"Perhaps she's seen a vision or something?" Shanni suggested. "Perhaps she's seen us righting great wrongs along the Sword Coast. Dealing justice to the wicked, serving the humble righteous, and with luck picking up a few knick-knacks here and there." She waved a hand indicative of vague reward.
"The Lady helps those who help themselves, and there's bound to be plenty of chances to do that around the Sword Coast," she added. "Aaaaand probably helping those who also need it at the same time." She grinned broadly. "Either way it's going to be a great adventure!"
((The links working for me T, but if you're going to be awkward I can send you a link on Skype.
