With several people out next week, and with me traveling on June 11, our next session will be June 18.

We'll pick it up next time in Mountaingate.

The old man in the mountain.

Pius had just crossed a stream with his mount by his side. Ahead of him was a gentle slope. Birds were singing in the nearby trees and rabbits could be seen running in the bushes. Pius moved towards the top of the hill but before he could get the he heard: "Who's there?"
As he slowly approached he saw and old man sitting on a large rock. "Pius is my name, I am a knight of Helm."
"Would you come and seat with me Pius?"
The man was wearing a brown orange robe that had seen better days. His skin was yellow brown, his eyes were small. He had no hair and his face had more wrinkles than one could count. As Pius moved to seat facing the old man he noticed that he was always looking in the same general direction and concluded that he was probably blind.
"I can feel that something is troubling you Pius, will you tell me about it?"

//Could I have a recap of last session, LB? Too much has happened since then and I don't remember exactly what we did. Thanks.

Toric sat at the table in the Mountaingate inn with his feet up on the table and his chair leaned back. He reflected on the many adventures him and his comrades have had: everything from the walking dead to corrupted animals to a silver dragon driven insane by her grief over losing her children. And now they were on their way to Torgan's Delve, who sent word they needed help with an unspecified enemy. Toric didn't know what to expect, but he was sure he wasn't going to like it when it happened.

Slade spent some time wandering a bit outside the stockade of Mountaingate, enjoying the silence and solitude. On returning to the inn he ordered some warmed wine and took a seat on a bench near the dwarf. After a few slow sips, he looked over at him and asked, "So what do you know of this place we're headed for? Heard anything about it before?"

"I also know little of Torgans Delve, and it seemed details of the nature of the trouble they were in were thin on the ground. But Judging by the number of unusual dangers we've encountered on the road already it might be rather dire. Does anyone know anything about it, beyond its existence as a Dwarven hold?"
