Damian shrugged. "I think giving Leo a fair seventh percentage of what the land is worth is more than fair. As for the school, I agree with Eleni. We know nothing about running such a school and we're rarely around, so the students would be bereft a teacher unless we hired them as well. All of which costs money. Speaking of which, I still have the statue of Neptune we can maybe sell if we require more money. The merchant I talked to gave me a price of fourteen thousand, but I'm sure one more used to haggling could get a slightly better price. That or I'll give it to Leo for his share and he can sell it."

We can hire a trainer for when we're not here. That foreigner who fought for the previous owner wanted a job, right? We can promise them a cut of the profits rather than a wage. They'd work harder that way anyhow.

PWs are same as always.

+900xp for Telemachus, Leonidas, Eleni, Polytropos, Andreas, and Kataramene. EDIT: Make that +1350 as Damian arrives at the last minute.

And yes, the ogre did fight back. I should have given him a stoneskin as well. :)

I will be out on August 10 for certain, and a 90% chance I will also miss on September 14. I will keep everyone posted.

OOC

I will be away from August 22 to August 29. I am not sure if I will have a stable internet connection in my hotel so I may skip one session.

OOC: I won't be around this Saturday: we're taking one of our dogs to the vet to see about having her euthanized.

Strange things never stop to occur.

After the trip to the fay realm and some time at the villa the Argosian heroes left the city in search of adventure. This time though one of them had to carry the name of another hero called Heracles. Some claimed that he was the son of Zeus.

Andreas was not sure that it was such a good idea but decided to follow the majority and kept quiet. After all, under the disguise of Heracles and his friends they could possibly visit new places, rescue people, defeat monsters and discover hidden treasures.

"So far so good. Hope that we can keep it that way, right Heracles?"

Leonaidas was happy to be rid of his landholding obligations. He saw it as a liability, something to hold him down, suck up his hard earned coin and an easy target for enemies. He had serious doubt the others would see any major return on their investment anytime soon. If he ever wanted to settle down, there was plenty of wilderness land from which he could choose to carve out a small outpost someday.

This new job, seemed a fools errand; they were supposed to be filling in for a missing hero called Heracles. If I pissed off a goddess, I think I'd find some gullible group of do-gooders to do the heavy lifting for me too. He wondered how long the mangy lion costume would fool folks they were having to visit. Then again, most folk probably had never seen Heracles, so perhaps they would pull the deception off. Then of course, there was the pissed off goddess, how would she react to a little band or mortals interfering in her schemes?
