Devotion Campaign Planning and Discussion Thread

"Fascinating that, yes," added Shanni. Regardless, there was a smile on her face and her step was lighter than it had been for a couple of days. A general air of sunny devil-may-care had settled into to replace the creeping shadow of aggression. "Bashing past everything instead of relying on Suula's umm ... training would be novel too."
"Though we still have that dwarf stone to return, and whatever that shade was down in the hold." She grinned impishly. "Tell you what. We can go back to the town, grab some nice food, find our wandering paladin, then us girls and him have a lovely picnic in the mountains while you two go and get the business done fighting past those guardians and any trickery there is in place."
She nodded her head in a pretense of firmness. "If you don't come out we'll toss a flower into the sea for you."

//aww man looks like I missed a pretty key session! I barely even got to smoosh stuff with my new sword
Amathain rejoins the group as they make their way back to the dwarf tomb.
"Greetings my friends. Sorry I had to leave you, I was called away on another errand. I was glad to hear of your success, I was confident you could complete the mission without me. You'll have to regale me with the tale of your victory."

Suula looks aggrieved and red at the notion of being 'kept in line'... but Shanni beats her to the quip. Still, though, she nods as Amathain returns, chastened. It doesn't stop her mouth, though.
"I don't want to bring everyone down," she says, in tones that suggest she's more than happy with bringing everyone down. "But that note did mention something about a 'contingency plan' for dealing with the Temple of All Faiths. Maybe we should see to replacing this... dwarf stone, whatever, and then hurrying back instead of breaking out the refreshments and telling stories."

That's why I made the silver swords effective against shapeshifters and outsiders; you may be done with the former for a while but the latter will make frequent appearances throughout the campaign. You may have to carry two blades, but just pretend you're a Witcher.Topato wrote://aww man looks like I missed a pretty key session! I barely even got to smoosh stuff with my new sword![]()

((My graphics are misbehaving. Keep getting intermittent black screen following a Win 10 update and a driver update doesn't seem to be resolving it. This may not affect my hosting, your ability to connect and play, or for the server to keep running, as it seems to be just my screen graphics, but a warning that I may just stop moving.
Assuming this isn't a hardware problem, and my display doesn't go belly up and stop me doing anything at all, I'll post the IP now 80.4.11.238. Password will be the usual.))

Re: Devotion Campaign Planning and Discussion Thread
Server shows down for me. Did we fall victim to the Europe-US DST difference again?
Re: Devotion Campaign Planning and Discussion Thread
I'm not seeing it either.

Europe! Hey, Europe! EUUUURRROOOPPPPE!
Edit: Well, that didn't work. Guess we should try back in an hour.
