Devotion Campaign Planning and Discussion Thread

"Remain focused, a lapse in concentration could kill here. If we're too busy patting ourselves on the back for dodging a few traps and ending a few undead we're liable to step in one or join the other. We have a mission to complete."

Re: Devotion Campaign Planning and Discussion Thread
((As an aside, we haven't heard from Shadani for a few days, last Saturday in fact, which is unusual to say the least. We're thinking he may not be able to get online for technical reasons.))
Re: Devotion Campaign Planning and Discussion Thread
((Server is up. Usual details.))
Re: Devotion Campaign Planning and Discussion Thread
"Those're really dark clouds the way we're going," Shanni spoke up as they walked along. Pursing her lips, her eyes fixed on the glowering horizon ahead. "Foreboding type clouds," she added after a moment or two. Her eyes cut a sideways glance at Suula. "Tell me it's not going to rain again? I think we've done enough storms now, so can anyone see sight sign of the missing people before it starts?"
((Just to remind you I at least will be out the weekend of the 12th. Will put the server up on Wednesday and hope there's no update to close the ports on Saturday.))

Re: Devotion Campaign Planning and Discussion Thread
"Dark clouds, is that a bad omen?" asked Pius.
He was now a true adventurer protecting the weak and the innocent and doing his best to uphold the duties and virtues required of a knight or better paladin.
It was not an easy thing to do. Pius was rather quiet if not a bit shy and sometimes he was stuck between what he was expected to do or say and what his heart was telling him.
All his friends were serving other Gods and had their own set of values. Pius knew he had to compromise with most of them and it was clear that it was for the greater good or something like that...

Toric looked at the clouds. "Only if'n ye donna want ta get wet, lad. Considerin' all we been through, a little rain won't 'urt us. I just 'ope the town ain't in trouble - or trouble we canna handle."
Re: Devotion Campaign Planning and Discussion Thread
"Now you're just doing this on purpose," sniffed Suula, trudging by her sister's side, arms crossed in front of her. "Of course dark clouds are an omen, what else are they going to be? You should all be lucky if it's just rain."
She gave her sister the Eye. "What are you looking at me for? I didn't call for the clouds. It just happens."

Re: Devotion Campaign Planning and Discussion Thread
"Not everything is signs and portents. Sometimes a cloud is just a cloud. The crops need rain."
