Site news
A new look
All parts of the site except for the forums have gotten a face lift. Since there wasn't much in the way of regular news or stories, the front page now puts the focus where it should be - on campaigns and players. The latest story or news item still appears on the front page, but now there are only links to other recent stories (in the right sidebar). The list of campaigns and of players seeking campaigns is now more prominent, below the news item. Also, the menu is now a bit more elegant, with a drop down style just below the page header. Please let me know if you find any bugs.

Site updated to allow NWN2: Storm of Zehir input
Storm of Zehir, the second expansion for Neverwinter Nights 2, has been released in North America (although it is not in all stores yet). Accordingly, this site has been updated to allow users to choose Storm of Zehir (SoZ) as one of the products they own. If you are listing a campaign, you can also list Storm of Zehir as one of the expansions required, if that is the case.

Site maintenance complete
The site maintenance is now complete. Please report any bugs in the bugs section of the forum.
Site maintenance
The site will be undergoing maintenance shortly to install a regular security update. The main part of the site may be unresponsive during that time, but you can still reach the forums at http://nwncampaigns.com/forums/.
Forum address change complete
The previously mentioned change of address for the forums is complete. If you've been accessing the forums directly rather than from the menu on the left, please note that the address has changed from www.nwncampaigns.com/forum, to www.nwncampaigns.com/forums (note the "s" on the end). This is for technical reasons, as there is a conflict with a url reserved by the engine that powers the site. The main menu link has been changed. If you notice any broken links, please report them in the bugs section of the forums.
Upcoming forum address change
If you've been accessing the forums directly rather than from the menu on the left, please note an upcoming change in the url (i.e. address) to reach the forums. In the next day or so, the address will change from www.nwncampaigns.com/forum, to www.nwncampaigns.com/forums (note the "s" on the end). This is for technical reasons, as there is a conflict with a url reserved by the engine that powers the site. An announcement will be made here when the change is made.
You've found the new server
We've recently moved the site to a new server. If you are seeing this message, then you've found the new server. The full functionality of the site is now back in place - you can now input events and campaigns once again. If you are a new user, you can register.
If you are using the numerical IP address to reach the site, you may want to try the normal address (nwncampaigns.com) to see if it has propagated to your DNS server yet.
NWN Campaigns game scheduling update
If you've tried to schedule a game, or read the instructions on scheduling a game, you've realized that the scheduling functionality is lacking right now in some glaring ways. This site was never planned to be a scheduling site, so what you see now is just a band-aid. However, with Neverwinter Connections still having trouble, a better scheduler may be needed.
With that in mind, I do have a few irons in the fire. There are a couple of features I'm trying out that are much better than what we have now, including invite and application functionality, and I've also made some starting inquiries to get price quotes for someone to design a scheduler. I won't have anything firm to show anyone for several days at best, but I wanted to give you all an update on what was going on.
Welcome
Welcome to Neverwinter Nights Campaigns. This site is under construction, but, when finished, will provide a means for NWN and NWN2 players to highlight their campaigns and find other campaigns, and hopefully drive traffic back to those campaigns at Neverwinter Connections.
Also, the site has a stop-gap game scheduling component for when Neverwinter Connections is down. This is very basic right now, as the hope is it won't be needed. If this changes, functionality can be added (although this will take time). Please only use this scheduling service when/if Neverwinter Connections is unavailable, so that we don't fragment the community. The scheduling service is still under construction, and currently lacks search and sort features, as well as good options to display registered players, but feel free to test it out. Here are some basic instructions.
