Despite being prepared for watching the games while drinking wine and feasting on bread and fruits, Andreas found himself in the arena again. Once again he won and so did his friends. At the end it was a big fight all of them against a Deity and some minions. All ended well and then they woke up just in time to go to the real games.

You know your life is odd when being whisked away by a demigod to fight in an arena of dreams is something you can just take in stride.

Luckily, Eleni had always aspired to be odd. So this worked out fairly well, all things considered.

Right now, she was quite happy to bask in the city's adoration and enjoy the Games. How long that would last, she had no idea, but if she'd learned nothing else it was to enjoy the little things while she had the chance.

((Been called into work to substitute, as they've put a 3 line whip on the open day activities. I should be back in plenty of time, but just in case I put the server up ready. Same connection details. If I don't make it then perhaps pre-fight nerves, or the otter's noses, got the better of her stomach!))

((Might be slightly late or entirely absent, depending on how a Thing goes. Will try to rush home, though!))

Leonaidas hadn't been thrilled about having to fight in the arena at the whim of some demigoddess. Luckily, his opponent attempted to shoot it out with him and he filled him full of arrows surprisingly quickly. Victorious, the games in Argos were proving to only be mildly entertaining in the preliminary round; he still wondered what sort of ringers the competing priests would produce for the grand finale for the honor of city patron. He was counting on definitely being just a spectator to this round of mayhem.

Tel had strange sense of satisfaction that they''d gotten the chance to step into the arena again, a dream though it may have been. Not that he'd enjoyed the people he was responsible for being in danger, but to test oneself on the arena floor against some of the greatest heroes of history, and to win. Well. That was something. He watched with interest as the schools gladiators performed on the arena floor, and waited for the most important fight, the patron match, to roll around.

Everyone's at least 18th level now, so +1800 for all posters.

We'll see who's here, we'll play if we get five. I can postpone the Priests' Challenge if both Zokos and Kataramene are absent.

Daylight Savings ends in the US on Sunday, November 2. Traditionally we swap on the US date, but I'm willing to be flexible if a majority wants a different shift date.
