Dragons... Leonaidas definitely had mixed feelings. One one hand dragons had proved rather dangerous on several occasions the group had encountered such. On the other, some of them had quite a bit of treasure in their lairs. The question was, would these dragons prove to be a profitable risk?

Eleni smiled vaguely, and showed Damian the ring she'd found. "There were a few things that should be helpful," she said. "Some scrolls, as well. But you must allow a sorceress to have her secrets, you know."

She looked around the hut, her smile fading slowly into retrospection.

"Being back here feels all sorts of strange. But, ah, I guess there are things we should get around to doing. Not much of a holiday so far, is it?"

"There's always something," agreed Polytropos. "Crystal dragons beneath the earth, I get the feeling some God was saving that one just for us." He frowns. "And we're going to have to do something about that Sphinx. No telling how many people coming to the village he's eaten, even if he is a bit dim."

"Great warriors think alike, it seems," Kataramene said with a flash of a grin, then became more solemn. "Dragons first, yes. We can't leave it to chance that it might find the village when it tires of the little lizardy creatures, but that sphinx has to be the culprit if the paw like print is to blame." She looked at Pol. "Perhaps we were too wary when we first saw him, and justifiably so as we'd but taken our first steps on the journey, but things are different now. If we're heroes, we can't shy from that."

"If there's a dragon about though ..." Her eyes took on a mildly calculating expression. "... some of us could perhaps do a little patrolling. Check out the old farm even. In fact, I think I will, if anyone would like to come too."

"It's dragons now is it?" Telemachus said, once the party had filled him in. "Sometimes I think this village is cursed. Maybe we should see if we can get people to move to our town, where we can at least keep a better eye on them?"
