Devotion Campaign Planning and Discussion Thread

"We can do that," Suula says, chewing some dried fruit and trying to look demure while doing it. "We've done elementals. Unless there's another crazy dragon down that tunnel, we can handle it. Right? Right?" She looks at the others, unusually chipper.
"Makes you wonder what it is about elementals that makes them so mad," she adds. "Every time we meet one, they're stomping around being moody and setting things on fire or tromping over people and making rock noises."

Re: Devotion Campaign Planning and Discussion Thread
"We did all right this time didn't we" asked Pius.
The Dwarves had mentioned that the elemental powers had been corrupted somehow and those who were previously friendly were now hostile, crushing anything that would get too close. Hopefully the devoted where strong enough to fight their way through. They found a strange white "sculpture" with a with a circular white platform at the centre. Pius got closer to examine it. He then tried to walk over it only to find himself teleported someplace else...

"Eh, we did alright." Suula says, still nursing a bruise on her arm and looking around the duergar library suspiciously. "But it's pretty clear that we're in for a rough time wherever we go. If we're not swamped by gibberlings - that's what they were, right? - pummelled by elementals or captured by Drow on the way, we're going to be eaten by ghouls. I feel like I'm half made of bandage at this point."
Re: Devotion Campaign Planning and Discussion Thread
Slade had scouted around the perimeter of the ruined city whilst the rest of the group had poked about in various nooks and crannies. Little fast moving gibberlings were scurrying about a few spots and he'd dispatched a couple he stalked before evading their brethern. They seemed like low level scavengers as the pair he shot didn't have anything of value on them. He wondered if they were ever going to find a lost horde of real value in this dark region.
Re: Devotion Campaign Planning and Discussion Thread
"I think you might be right Suula, I can't imagine anything referred to as "the city of eternal night" can be a good thing. I didn't realise they even recognised "night" down here. But the information the oracle offered us combined with what we've learnt from the fallen dwarf seems to suggest that it must be our next destination."
Re: Devotion Campaign Planning and Discussion Thread
"Then off to the city we shall go," Nihmri said, very nearly singing. "Oh, the sights that we shall see! The friends that we shall make! The songs that we shall sing! The screams that we shall scream! I positively cannot wait."
